Croatian tourist cities rely on local bus companies plus separate airport or intercity operators. Tickets bought off the bus are usually much cheaper than paying the driver.

Dubrovnik city and suburban buses are run by Libertas; tickets bought before boarding are cheaper than the ticket sold on the bus.
